So who is Ike?
In the 1970s, Ike and his family traveled across the U.S. and Canada, preaching and singing to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Free from denominational boundaries, their ministry welcomed all who sought a deeper connection with the Lord. In 1978, they released Thank You Lord, the first of over 20 albums that would go on to impact listeners around the world.
Throughout the years, Ike expanded his reach by collaborating with artists and organizations globally. In 1999, he received a Telly Award for his commercial jingle for the Jet Express ferries—an achievement that opened doors to work with major brands on audio branding. Yet, Ike has always remained rooted in a simple prayer his grandmother often said: “Lord, let me be about my Father’s business.”
In 2017,
he founded the LaFontaine Foundation, providing instruments and educational support to churches and schools in the Philippines and Africa.
Today, Ike is building Ike LaFontaine Productions & Consulting (ILPC) as a way to give back.
With over 30 years of hands-on experience in music, sound engineering, and systems integration, Ike is committed to equipping churches, leading tech teams, and mentoring sound engineers. Through ILPC, he offers consulting, training, and support—sharing practical knowledge and spiritual insight to help others serve with clarity, excellence, and confidence.
Whether in the studio, behind a soundboard, or occasionally on tour, Ike’s mission remains the same: to use his gifts to glorify Christ and serve others.
